This space is super unique being just two blocks from the old route 66 or the new Route 66! It is also ten minutes from Joplin metro area. It is five minutes from the Ortho four states surgery center. The space is 15 minutes from the Quapaw Downstream Casino. This place is sure to be conveniently located. 

The house is nearly 100 years old. There have been many updates making your stay more comfortable. However, there are still quant features from a 100 year old house. The entire house is guest accessible. (Minus one closet in front of the car bed that stores supplies)

In true Pixar movie detail and with Route 66 history in mind one needs to be aware that one will be exposed to poverty, older homes in different states of repair and the effects of fewer job opportunities. 

The neighborhoods are safe and walkable. The town has many cats and cat lovers! Galena also has their own police force. (The police officers still wave and have coffee at the local Streetcar Station Cafe.) The largest employer in the town is their beloved school system.
